Hello Families,
The weather is getting colder, and the wind has been blowing! It is very important for your Kindergartener to come to school dressed for the weather. We try to go outside to play and explore everyday. Coats, mittens, hats, and warm gear is going to be needed for quite a while now. Please work with your child to practice putting on and taking off their warm outdoor clothing. This helps develop independence and confidence. Zippers can be tricky- so lots of practice is best!
This week we reviewed our classroom routines and expectations. Kindergarten were excited to be together with their friends. We spent time playing familiar math games, drawing silly monsters in our journals and learning all about the letter P. We practiced making letters on our whiteboards, writing letters in our booklets and identifying things in our classroom and in our lunch boxes that start with the letter P.
For Halloween, we were excited to wear our costumes, we played some Halloween games- like Pass the Pumpkin and we learned the poem "5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate".
Reminder: Picture day is on Tuesday!
Have a safe and happy Halloween!
Sounds like great week! My son loves his classmates and teacher ❤️
